Please reach us at ginger@soulonfiredance.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We are on the corner of Civic Center and Main St. in Santa Ana, CA. We are kitty corner from Burger King on the first floor of the brick building. Our front door is technically on Civic Center.
There is a small lot next to the building that has signs for "Oxford Construction" - that's fine! They are gone after 5p and on weekends. Please be mindful as you park and leave space for other cars! Please do NOT park behind the gate in the covered parking, at the Presbyterian church or across the street in the lot by Fat of the Land - they WILL tow you. There are also 2hr metered spaces along Civic Center in front of our building and at the Old Courthouse across the street. There are 1hr metered spots on Sycamore. There is a parking structure on 5th and Main at 420 N. Main St that is 2 hours free and about a 3 minute walk.
MORNING CLASSES
Our upstairs neighbors are in the office during the week in the mornings. Please use the other options above, but avoid the small lot marked "Oxford Construction". Thank you!

We know times are hard - folks are losing their jobs, the cost of living is higher, and it's getting a little harder to make ends meet for some of us. In times like these, we need community more than ever, but sometimes it just isn't in the budget. Here at Soul on Fire Dance, we want to try something new.
Introducing The Kindness Floor - A Love Note Series. We will be hosting a community class once per month that will be pay what you can (even if that means you take class for free). There will be a two hour time slot - the first hour is a traditional dance class (styles will vary) and the second hour will be open studio time to get assistance with movements, run routines, or just hang out and be with your community.
For those who are able to donate, 100% of the proceeds will go towards class credits for those who are currently unable to afford them. Pay-it-forward dance classes, if you will. Each cumulative $20 will be posted on a notecard on a bulletin board in the studio. If you're having a really hard day and need to dance, but it's not in the budget, grab a notecard and use it as a credit for any of our regular classes on the schedule.
If you donate to participate in The Kindness Floor, we encourage you to write some words of affirmation on a notecard that will be added to the board. We could all use a little more love, and what better way to do it than through dance?
See you on the dance floor.
We accept cash, all major credit cards, Venmo, and PayPal.
At this time we do NOT accept Zelle, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
YES! We are partnered with Dr. B - a telehealth platform where patients can take $ 15 online consultations for a wide variety of conditions and then send resulting prescriptions to the pharmacy of their choice. Patients can also connect with licensed providers in their state who provide the Letter of Medical Necessity required for HSA/FSA fitness reimbursement.
Fitness can transform whole-body health. And if you exercise to prevent or treat a medical condition, you may be able to get a Letter of Medical Necessity to unlock your HSA or FSA funds and save up to 40% off your classes.
To qualify those expenses for reimbursement with an HSA/FSA administrator, you need a Letter of Medical Necessity from a provider. Our partner, Dr. B, offers online consultations with licensed providers in every state—365 days a year.
How it works
Whatever you feel comfortable moving in! Most of us wear workout clothing of some kind. Shoes depend on the class you're taking, but many can be taken in bare feet or with tennis shoes!
Heels are never required, but we have some you can borrow for free! (Think bowling shoes, but make them sexy) We have femme sizes 6-12. Heels with straps are safest, as are non-platform shoes.
Tap shoes are not required for tap - if you don't have your own, that's ok! Wear tennis shoes and you can rent our tap slip covers for $3 per class.
We love beginners. So many of our classes are available to people who have never set foot on a dance floor before. Our instructors are all able to break down movements and technique to get you started off the right way. Check out our class descriptions page to read about what classes are available to people just like you! Our community is supportive and welcoming. If you feel called to move your body through dance, then we want to meet you and dance with you!
YES! Give us any reason to celebrate you and we are THERE! Bachelorette/Bachelor/Bachelox, birthday, promotion, divorce, baby shower, office team building, or whatever else you can think of. We are ready to create your own experience for you and yours.
We have hosted a variety of events: sisterhoods for sororities, events for students at university wellness centers, private classes for recovery centers, office holiday parties. Give us a space to dance or we can come to you.
