Soul on Fire Dance Receives 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 Best of Santa Ana Award

Soul on Fire Dance has been selected for the 2022 & 2023 Best of Santa Ana Award in the Dance School category by the Santa Ana Award Program.

Each year, the Santa Ana Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Santa Ana area a great place to live, work and play.

We were also selected as Distinguished Teaching's Best Dance Studio in Santa Ana AND were awarded Best Dance Studio in Santa Ana by the Quality Business Awards in 2023 & 2024. Check us out and find out why!

Soul on Fire Dance is a collective of dancers from vast community backgrounds and we understand that tolerance is not the same as acceptance.  Our goal is for people to feel safe and embodied, love on themselves, and do so in an environment that is wholeheartedly and unabashedly supportive; thereby amplifying our power to effect change.  As such, our collective values are actively promoting:

• A commitment to remain teachable, proactive in learning & putting in the work to show up as better allies & members of our communities

This is an LGBTQ-affirming, neurodiversity-affirming space, that seeks to center BIPOC and voices of other communities that are exploited and marginalized. Engaging in behavior to the contrary is explicitly forbidden.

We treat everyone with respect - absolutely no harassment, persecution, or hate speech will be tolerated.

This studio has a zero tolerance policy for hate speech informed by systems of oppression, including (but not limited to) racism and white supremacy, sexism and patriarchy, ableism, fatphobia, transphobia, queerphobia and heteronormativity/heterosexism, mononormativity, ageism, classism, colonialism, and religious discrimination. 

For people found to be unwilling to engage in processes of accountability or acting in “bad faith,” you will be removed from the community. 

This studio operates using values of accountability and restorative justice to allow compassion for us to be imperfect humans, while also encouraging each of us to hold impacts of hurt/harm we may cause and work towards repair together.
